His finishing price has nothing to do with next years price at all.
His season average of 48.2 is used to determine his price, then they decide if they will apply any discount.
48.2 equates to an opening price of around $263,000.
Discounts are not always applied or guaranteed, especially next season, given how strange the 2020 season was.

Totally agree ... would prefer to get games into our youth and monitor Fantasia at ESS for another year before committing anything for him ...

Yup not only what they have or even what that future first will have. Might see a lot of talent passed on this year without games. Could well be some steals without all those over aged guys in TAC having missed a year of footy.

That's a terrible deal for North. Basically it is giving up Goldy for nothing (swapping 1st rounders from one year to the next). Especially, as next seasons draft is stronger than this years.

Think it is going to take something like a Tim Kelly deal to get it done. 2 Years on a contract is pretty big when it isn't ur own club shipping you off.
