I for one, am happy all these people are excited about getting Preuss into their teams.
They are obviously planning on having a playing R3 for cover, or a R/F swing set. Seems strange to be excited about a $300k pick, that will nearly be certain to miss games, and his selection requires you to lock in 1 or 2 other selections.
I hope he reaches 60-70% ownership in Rnd 1!
Come on Rowsus, where's your sense of adventure!!! :p

Chalk me up in the pro column on Preuss. Have to check them out in preseason but I'd be surprised if Mumford is anything other than back-up depth. So valuable to be able to fill that R2 spot with someone who will make $$ and avoid the Gawn pricetag without committing to a B-grade keeper. No need to link him with anyone IMHO.

Did rookie accidentally leak Bombers' trade plan?

Al Paton

Essendon livewire Irving Mosquito may have given away a lot more than he meant to in an Instagram post today.

Channel 7 reports Mosquito posted then quickly deleted a photo of himself at Essendon's Tullamarine HQ with coaching legend Kevin Sheedy.

The pair were sitting in front of a whiteboard and closer inspection revealed the phrase "Menegola + 13 + 20" written on the board between the goalsneak and Sheedy.

It is an apparent reference to Geelong's Sam Menegola, who has been floated as a potential player to break the trade deadlock between the Cats and GWS over Jeremy Cameron – a deal Essendon could get involved in.

The Cats currently hold picks 13 and 20 in the draft. There was an arrow on the whiteboard but Mosquito's head obscured what was written after it.

Menegola is contracted until 2021 and has just enjoyed a career-best season.

Trades are flowing now.
BRISBANE has signed injury-plagued Geelong forward Nakia Cockatoo.
The former No.10 draft pick moves to the Lions in exchange for a future third-round selection which is tied to Melbourne.
Brisbane took a chance on injury-plagued Geelong forward Lincoln McCarthy and turned his career around. Now they are doing the same with his former teammate.
The pair have the same manager, with Cockatoo well aware of Brisbane's exemplary medical history.
