Tom Morris reports...
GWS forward Bobby Hill has emerged as the potential circuit-breaker to assist Rory Lobb’s move back to the Giants.
Hill is contracted for next year but is managed by the same agency as Lobb, who has two seasons remaining on his deal at Fremantle.
Lobb has completed a medical at the Giants but there is still significant work to do before he finds his way back to the club that drafted him with Pick 29 in 2013.
Hill played 17 games for GWS in 2021 and is considered a required player at this stage, though the carrot of Lobb – potentially with part of his salary paid by the Dockers – could attract the Giants.
