Just saying it’s probably part of the reason, I wouldn’t want Essendon playing multiple games there in a short span for fear of them being injured. Several players have said its the hardest ground they’ve ever played on.
That used to be the case... They have done significant work on the ground over the last year though to soften it up. It's not much of an issue these days.

Yeah it's still one of the leagues harder surfaces, just like Marvel Stadium... But that has no part in this reason they have made to send both WA teams on the road yet again.

Just think there’s several other factors, you’ve had the advantage of playing in front of crowds, which no Vic team has had this year, so why complain?

Jeez I’m stuffed for round 15 if they don’t give us more trades, I currently have in my team:

Simpkin, Goldstein, Rankine, Stewart, Danger, Menegola, Simpson, Close, Macrae and Bont.

Rankine and Simpson most likely gone before then. But that’s basically all premos missing! Fingers crossed supercoach help me out lol

Well it's been fun lads! Been realllyyyy fun! See ya next season!!!

seriously ?

Round 12 just commenced , you have 3 rounds to sort it out.

Given their original idea was to release it round by Round we have been very fortunate that they have released a 5 Round block.

wow. big news! surely it goes to like best 16 or they give us about 10 extra trades...
Personally if I was running SuperCoach then I would shift the Round 16 North Melbourne vs Port Adelaide game to include it in round 15.

Then 2-4-4 and much less carnage in a single round. No different to how they figure out “rounds” in BBL and other comps.

If they go with 2-6-2 allowing 3 trades a week though to round 15 will be enough. That is 12 trades that can be used to move out Round 15 bye players during rounds 12, 13, 14 and 15.

There is no need to add extra trades for teams who have less than 10 now.

Rankine and Close can be used for an upgrade/downgrade. Then use 4 or 5 trades in Rounds 13-15 to trade some premos out to promos who have had their bye. As long as you get 17 or 18 on the park that week you will be fine.

Yea that's true. Will be ineresting to see if they start the SC finals in that round and whether we have extra trades/best 18 situation.

Where's the dislike button... Knew it was coming but stupid to leave a world class venue like Optus Stadium empty when more teams could have been flown over here like RIC & WBD.
Yeah fully agree mate, fair enough Eagles and Freo can ship out but there’s no reason games can’t be played there without a WA team participating.

I have also have a bit of a look at Rd 15 just for fun ;)

Team as it currently stands right now:

Green = available
Red = bye
Yellow = donut

DEF: Lloyd, Docherty, Ridley, Z Williams, McKay, B Williams (Houston, Stewart)
MID:
Neale, Merrett, Oliver, Mitchell, Cripps, Coniglio, Fyfe, Parker (Bytel, Simpson, Mahony)
RUC: Grundy, Draper (Comben)
FWD: Petracca, Dusty, Whitfield, McInerney, Cameron, Simpkin (Georgiades, B Smith)

So all going well (no restings) its probably not as bad as I thought, but will depend on if additional trades being available.

Currently I would have 19 playing. Depending on the trade situation, I guess there are also some expendable 'keepers' amounst the Rd 15 players that if push came to shove could be moved on such as Smith, Simpkin and Houston :eek:
