He had a hammy issue last week.
Given he has never played before at senior level, is still learning the game AND Eagles won easily I think you are safe.
At this early stage of the year I'm not willing to gamble and will likely lock in 110 if I'm being honest.
I think while we wait to see where Fyfe/Ablett/Rockliff/Pendles are at and if they are back to their perma capt selves, I think locking in the good points is our best foot forward.
The VC loophole assumes more importance than ever this weekend given that Danger is becoming a massive lock as Captain for most teams (not just here at SCS but probably throughout the entire comp). Not having Danger as captain and choosing someone else who may outscore him has great POD potential this week ... not that I'm game to try this at this point in time !
I'm ultra conservative when it comes to locking in captain's scores but after watching Danger on Monday and then seeing his historical numbers, it might just be a gamble worth taking. Hoping Gawn goes big actually, to close up the gap against NN owners after last week but also to lock in the good points early without having to worry about Danger's score.
Cavka has sadly retired at just 19 so great choice for a FD
Adamson has really improved but as you said is still relearning the game after the switch back from Baseball. Won't push games at all this year in our strong team.
Karpany the biggest risk of getting games. Played in all 3 NAB Games including the last 2 where we had very strong teams. Has showed some really good signs and could get a few games if Bennell drops off in form.

I think that may be the reasoning behind Rowsus' selection, great loophole agent early on to capitalise on VC/C loophole with the hope of getting games. Wise old fella he is!
I'll probably roll the dice with Danger on anything under 120, and lock in any VC score over 130. And yes i know there's 10 points between 120 and 130, it's a big ugly gray area that scares me a little bit.
After Fyfe's superb performance as my captain last week and my determination to continually improve, I will lock in anything greater than 61 this week!
Also posted in the weekly thread. Very unwise if you ask me. Stop Gazza, stop Gold Coast!
He (Ross Lyon) said he was unlikely to tag Gary Ablett as he said the whole midfield would be accountable for him.
"We haven't tagged for a while," Lyon said.
"We sort of have people accountable for them. It's been proven in numerous other teams and numerous games that it's not about one player.
"It's about all players contributing. I'm sure Gary will play well, but we hope as a collective we play well enough to beat him and the Gold Coast Suns."
The last time I remember a coach saying "We won't tag Gary... it's inevitable he will rack it up anyway, we just need to control his effectiveness, we're happy for him to run around untagged" was Longmire before Round 2 2013.... Gary was coming off 180 points against St Kilda in Round 1, and everyone pencilled him in for a similar score. Come game day, Kieren Jack stuck to him like glue, and limited him to 24 touches and a sub-100 score.
So this could just as easily be a little bit of gamesmanship from Lyon.
