It’s just one round of data but it’s the extreme DT:SC ratios that have me liking the intercept defenders/backline generals. Here’s a few:
Astbury: 49 DT, 90 SC
Weitering: 49 DT, 102 SC
T Stewart: 63 DT, 100 SC
Blicavs: 38 DT, 86 SC
Wilkie: 39 DT, 79 SC
Hurn: 94 DT, 152 SC
Howe: 110 DT, 156 SC
Andrews: 62 DT, 103 SC
Sure there will be other similar players who didn’t have such skewed scores but all of the above scored 35+ more SC points than DT points and some of them haven’t needed to hit the stats sheet too often to score well.
So I feel as though Andrews will be one of the main beneficiaries.
The midfield bulls look as though they will be scored generously due to the inflated scoring for contested possessions and the rucks will benefit from inflated scores for HOTA.
Just my thinking anyway and only based off what I saw during round 1. Round 2 could turn my observations on their collective heads!
