How long do you think he will keep the role for?
I think his role will be fairly consistent throughout the season. He's a great user by foot so I imagine they will look to get the ball in his hands a fair bit. Collingwood fans will probably have a better idea than me but I think his game is very fantasy friendly, and he's been working his way into the season and I'm hoping he continues improving. Also, it looks like the ball might be in the Collingwood defence a fair bit this season given their results so far.

Thinking the double downgrade this week.

Jones is definitely coming in.

The other trade I'm looking at is either Bergman or McCreery. The latter is cheaper but Bergman feels like a better on-field option, just annoying that I've already traded him out and he's had a price rise.

Campbell and Berry the two likely to make way.

Is Bailey Dale ($407 fwd ave: 94) worth a look for an upgrade?. Currently the 8th best fwd, he is running off half back, and taking at least half the kick ins. So role is good, price is good, team is winning (more share of points). Williams remains out for a while,so even with Caleb back I think his role stays good.

The problem is, it's the Dogs and Bevo likes to switch things around every now again. I can see the horror story now as Caleb returns to full time kick in duty, and Dale gets sent forward.

Why the conviction to trade Tex? don't get me wrong, also considering, trying to work out if we got lucky and he is a top 6 forward if he scores 95-100 from here.

The concern for me is he was injured last week, still played, looked ok 1H on 60 then injured during the game. Could miss this week, or worse still plays and not fully recovered. Does he injure it again given again is more the concern.
Just reckon he will regress to an 80’s average player for the rest of the season, think it’s bound to happen based on such a long scoring history in the 80’s at his best. That’s still very good for a key forward but I don’t see him doing much better.

Ultimately the first sign of injury/body trouble has me walking away

I know it doesn't mean much - got him in my draft and loving his role.

Would consider for forward line for sure.

Clark to Jones

LDU to Neale

MASSIVE watch on a 260k FWD
Brown's probably a VFL game or two away from steeping back up to AFL level yet I'd suspect. Weideman probably ahead of him at this stage in terms of recovery / return to the AFL team and Big Tom has been doing is job in the forward line so no need to rush BBB back in imo.

Loving the look of Maynard this week. Broke out last year playing a fantastic role in Howe's absence. At 450k I think he's absolute value. A great option for those looking to offload Clark in the backlines imo. Brayshaw the obvious candidate for those stuck with him in the midfield too.

P.S. How nice is it finally being able to do a proper 1-up 1-down upgrade...

I think he'll keep that role until Howe comes back or Buckley flips a coin
Personally, i feel Crisp is the safer option, if you want to keep the PIes theme

Stocker $ 186,500.00

Averaged 49.6 from 5 games in 2019.
There's certainly opportunity for him in a rather lack-lustre midfield and if he can stick then he could easily grind his way up to the 400k+ mark, which would make him potentially viable for a bye round upgrade in a season where rookies are struggling to make cash.

I remember reading those words many times in the preseason about Dow 😀

Personally think people get way too excited when a newbie is announced , at that price he would have to show a hell of a lot more than what he has produced in his previous 5 games.

wow $ 400k he might be a keeper

Not sure who you would use as a trade out , Chapman & Jones have money to make , maybe Clark (not getting maximum return)

Be interesting to see how he scores with Cripps , Curnow , Setterfield , Walsh , Williams etc still around their mids.

See how he performs then assess

Not sure where all of that came from Herbie - you'd of course have a look at him for two games and then assess whether he's worth bringing in and nobody is suggesting jumping on him straight away based on a VFL game (I'd guess most coaches generally leave thoughts about jumping straight away onto players with state league form back in round 1).

Just a general comment really.

His starting price may be restrictive to many.

Not sure about others but I think I have 2 on my bench that might look like making enough $$$ to be worthwhile for downgrades , going to be a very long haul.

Nothing about Stocker's scores in 2019 jump out but it will be interesting to see how he performs.

I think I'll trade Kelly, really don't have the trades if I was playing league but for overall I don't think I can carry him when it's obvious the role isn't there.

If it was form I'd probably keep.
No Cba's on the weekend. Clearances way down for the year. Out of contract? Strange. I think i need to trade him too.

I can't afford to trade him, but also can't afford to not trade him if the role isn't there. Not sure I understand what the thinking is. Will probably just hold and hope the coaching staff either comes to their senses or are sacked!
