I reckon he should’ve been on at least 20 points. He was instead on like 6 points. The first goal was undervalued and the 2 50s were over-penalised

It was a mistake keeping the 3300 for shortened quarters. Players now get random scaling for doing nothing at the end of each quarter just to meet the quota & MG didn’t benefit at all from the random scaling last night when others did.

You know the system is broken if Dixon can score 20 more points than MG with just 5 touches & 1 goal. Don’t know why you would argue otherwise. Daisy Pearce had MG 4th best on ground so someone was certainly valuing what he was doing.
To have him as 4th best on ground only proves she does not understand footy at all. Either that or she was taken by his good looks.

Any ideas on the likelihood of McKay getting named? Need to trade Williamson for a rookie so won't be able to see the Roos' team beforehand and will cop a donut if he isn't named. Could go BZT instead but prefer McKay if he keeps his spot.
I think it might have been @Leroy (North fan) who shared some positive views on this, but I’ll let him confirm either way!

Thanks again for your opinion. Re: trading Noble or Williamson for Lloyd, who do you think is the better choice? Is Noble likely to hold his spot in the team this week? Very annoying we won't know before the Blues v Hawks game tonight so I have to decide before then who to trade to Lloyd.

I'd rather keep Noble as I think he is the better scorer but not sure who has the better job security & trading Noble gives me more cash, but I feel keeping him over Williamson makes me slightly stronger onfield for now until both are gone.

Any help from anyone would be appreciated very much.
I agree with your take in that Noble should score higher but Williamson has better JS.

Notably Williamson has scored poorly recently after being injured mid game maybe 2-3 rounds ago, and is now set to drop cash without a spike game, which he has shown very little sign of having to date (albeit he probably has it in him). Bye coming up too.

On the other hand Noble has looked totally out of his depth at times, but he seems to try really hard and can accumulate points through those efforts.

Willo owner and former Noble owner, but I don’t profess to have strong insight on their roles in each side’s 22 or the like.

Fantasy Freako tweet:
Mitch Georgiades lost 25 points from his score in the first half from two 50-metre penalities against and one free-kick against. His first goal of the game (margin close) was worth 11.7 points. His two goals in the second half were worth 11.9 combined. #SuperCoach

Now to work out whether to take his score or not. He could have made it so much easier on us... :D

Georgiades’ score is an absolute disgrace. He kicked the first goal when “the game was on the line”. Way too much weight on 2 50s that had no impact on the result (n)

Champion Data had an absolute mare tonight, MG could get a bloody Brownlow Vote ***!
He got +12 for that first goal, preceded to do nothing for the rest of the half and gave away the 50’s. Sparked up again when game was over.

This is how the scoring has always worked.

How did Oliver get a 100 with that kind of DE? I thought SC was all about effectiveness?
He had 14 CPs (one behind Trac as highest in the ground) so he would have generated quite a lot of points from that.

Would be nice if he used it better, but equally he/Trac/Viney seemed to at times be getting a lot of possessions in part because they weren’t able to dispose of it cleanly (ie repeat possessions between 2 or 3 of them in a group contest).

Seems like contested possessions outweighs effectiveness. I guess that's why outside players need to nail their disposals to get anywhere near decent scores, inside players can butcher the ball and contested possession scaling kicks in.

That score is complete rubbish at 22% effectiveness.

Don't know how CD can justify that even with all his contested possessions.

It's what you do with the the ball that matters not how contested it was... And Oliver Butchered it like no other last night.

Don’t know if it’s been mentioned but shout out to Billy Gowers, one of the better forward rookies the other year. Managed a staggering -2 off 84% ToG the other night.

Joins some very elite company.
Andrew McLeod in a showdown in 2008 scored -2 for an entire game, back when he was an elite supercoach defender as well.
