Who to hold, Simpson or Ryan or Mitchell. One of them is becoming Ford and considering another for Wardlaw.. I could hold Ryan the entire time until his bye but not keen to lose all his hard earned money.

Most likely going with

Wilmot - Ford
Simpson - Briggs

Leaves me with 20 playing this week. $450k in the bank and 14 trades/1 boost. Have held the boost to either help with R15 bye (bring Oliver back), or give me an extra trade to bring in rd15 players after their bye (Butters/Macrae for example).

Have you considered holding Cripps and trading Hollands now for someone like Wardlaw for a $180k difference or Mullin? Leaves approx $200,000+ in the bank next round for S Ryan to a midfield premium (eg Neale- via Madden and Coniglio).
Sorry for the late one @Connoisseur , talk about last minute, the week I've had. Can't wait to just dive into this round.

Now that Cripps is named. Definitely going to reconsider despite my feelings towards his recent performances. With Drury, Sheezel, Ziebell, Ford and potentially Wardlaw, that's 5 x RD15 bye players I have to weigh up on.

I’d hold Mitchell. Ryan going to leak a lot if you hold him. I can’t see Simpson playing again after the bye with all of Geelong’s players coming back. Also a sub risk this week. Mitchell should play round 13.

Looking good for this week! I count 20 players and 15 premos.

Ziebell > Darcy Cameron: viable or too clever by half?

Helps bye balance.
Cameron may lose some value but has a very beneficial matchup this week
Predicated on Ziebell slowing up / being impacted by Hall /...
Frees up funds to be used elsewhere.

Interested in others' thoughts.
I’m mindful that Clarkson returning (or just reminding Ratten of his gameplan) could have Ziebell back in his previous role pretty soon.

Well it looks a little out there at first glance but to be fair if Ratten continues with the set up he has used the past two games Ziebell could drop considerably in scoring and price going forward. I had marked Sheez as a trade out in rd 13 but now depending on this weekend will consider keeping Sheez and moving Ziebell on. And if it helps your bye scenario it is worth thought.

Given the horror show Hawthorn are enveloped in and the likely chance that the mess just keeps getting worse I am really not sure about Clarkson returning. Purely my opinion but this could drag on for months.

Having just read the letter that Cyril & co just penned I would not be surprised if Fagan also goes on a 'break' prior to their next game

Or even closer :unsure: with
Out: A Davey, D Wilmot and K Chandler
In: H Greenwood, J Ridley and E Ford

Allows Mitchell, Weddle and Sharp next round to Mullin, rookie and Neale. 5 trades left and then potentially two of Wardlaw, Cincotta and Ford sold on their bye for Mills and rookie for three trades left.
Changing once again with the Mitchell news. Chandler stays and Mitchell goes and can do either of the following for 18:

Ridley and Briggs. Dawson stays in the mids this year and Briggs cannot be played outside of this round but will be traded in RD15. Shoud allow Weddle and Chandler to Mullin and Neale next round
if price changes are friendly.

VS:
Macrae and Mullin

Weddle to Neale via Dawson next round with Chandler to fwd rookie if price changes are friendly, to temporarily keep a fwd/mid in the midfield to ensure I do not end up with 7 forwards in RD14

Would move on Simpson ….Mitchell and Ryan will get games….
if you needed cash could move Ryan on as his money making has almost ceased now…

Currently letting this option marinate:

Wilmot -> Ridley
Cripps -> Rowell
Teakle -> Ford via Madden DPP

9 trades left, $17.9k ITB - current team below

Byes form:
R12: 19 | incl. Cincotta
R13: 20 | plan on no trades
R14: 17* | plan on 2 down 1 up using S.Ryan, SMitch, Ashcroft or Hollands = 7 trades remaining
R15: 12* | plan on 3 down 2 up using whomever I didn't trade out (above). Have to consider Sheezel this week... = 4 trades remaining, should probably reconsider my R14 plan considering how many I don't have available.

Option 1:
Hollands -> Ridley via SMitch DPP
Ashcroft -> De Goey
S.Ryan -> Ford

9 trades left, $50.8k ITB - field below

Option 2:
Wilmot > Ridley
Teakle > Briggs
S.Ryan > Ford

9 trades left, $206.5k ITB - field below

I've got 15 minutes to decide - I'm leaning towards Option 2 for extra cash ITB. Next week, only Stewart/Mitchell (possibly) out, barring any more carnage means no trades.

RD14 to set up for Rd15 with the additional bank.

I would lean toward option 2 because I don’t see De Goey as a top mid.

Goes against my usual 'no dickhead' policy but am bringing in De Goey for Ashcroft this week. Need a Round 13 or 14 player for bye balance and noticed that he only has 3 games outside of Melbourne in the run home. Historical averages show the last 5 years in the 80s but I'm confident that his greater midfield role this season is relatively safe. The only other genuinely viable option is Rowell but he appears relatively dependent on GC winning/being competitive for his strong scores and costs 50k more for the same average to this point.
This could be the year he doesn't get busted faking a dog bite, or eating sushi off an underaged stripper's tummy with white powder on his nose posted on facebook! :)'
If so, he could end up having a pretty good season. :LOL:
