Taking Zieball roll i assume.? A MID-FWD playing a HB role.......tasty.
Going to be very interesting to see what North do here.
They axed Perez, Turner, Bonar and Young who played there.
Hall, Ziebell and Howe all retired obviously and McKay walked out.
Leaves:
Sheezel - Looks destined for more than just a HB, wonder if they ease him through there for another season.
McDonald - Known quantity, more ball stopper than rebounder.
Archer - Not shown much at all to date, especially with the ball.
Bergman - Shown even less probably but I did like him in preseason.
Corr - Rubbish player but will probably be a main part of their side. One of those guys who thinks he should kick when he should hide from the ball offensively, will stupidly take kick-ins off guys who can kick also.
Goater - His debut was really good, his entire season last year was not, there's talent but another yet to really show it.
Logue - Wouldn't think he's back for round 1, but see Corr for my thoughts.
They've added Stephens, who I'm still not really sure where he fits with them but could potentially play HB, looks set to have the same issues he had at Sydney so really weird choice of side for him, genuine mids are the one position they're loaded at. Fisher, already discussed and would expect at HB and to score freely and Biggy who will probably get a good shot at one of the KPD slots and I actually quite like as a prospect, think he was a good bargain pickup.
Thomas could be an option but would think they'd prefer midfield. LDU will play guts. Simpkin doesn't suit the defensive role, Wardlaw seems a pretty pure mid and also a waste at HB. Phillips likewise. Powell could potentially be an option seeing as how they seem to hate him in the midfield.
They really lack guys with class though across the list. I wonder if they'd try Curtis, Taylor or Ford across half back also.
Odd team to try and pick to be honest, perhaps their draftees will be the answer.
