Obviously a sad day for Australian sport, and my heat goes out to the Walsh family and all those affected.

As for Supercoach; players should score a 0, in my opinion. But what about those that have traded IN Adelaide or Geelong players.

We should have the option to reverse our trades, bar any player movements from the game last night.

Have the powers that be made a call on whats happening with cats and crows players?
Do we put bench players on for all the Cats and Crows players or leave them on the bench with an E

I reckon they should do a Best 20 scenario like the best 18 in the Byes but give Crows/Cats players 0s. Fairest way to do it IMO

You'd think there'd be no brownlow votes this round
As if we needed another can of worms opened.... Very interesting considering Danger would be in the race for second place. Think we can all breath I sigh of relief that Nathan Fyfe will win it by a country mile. (Unless he gets suspended).
Will have implications in the TAB as well.

I'd be fairly confident they will have Brownlow votes and Adelaide and Geelong players will get zip. Very unique situation.

Here's an update:

@petejank: @McClungeMagnet @FBDonkey will have something soon.. quite a few issues with awarding known, defined scores (ie avg)
For those unaware Pete Jank is the man who calls the shots at Virtual Sports (or one of) so he's a very reliable source with how this all plays out.

Personally, i think DNP's will be the way to go. There'll be a few unlucky ones who are stacked with cats/crows (like me :p) but it seems the most logical and probably easiest to implement solution. I'm seriously considering taking the opportunity to make some corrective trades to my team in SJ and Smith while avoiding a couple of donuts. Not ideal with 6 trades left tbh lol

Unfortunately I had to do both trades before last nights game, so probably a couple of donuts for me. Unless H Goddard and Edwards play. Anyway, pales into insignificance really.

Ultimate Footy - From Facebook

An update on how Sunday's abandoned match will be handled in Ultimate Footy.
All players from both Geelong and Adelaide will receive zero points for this round.
We suggest you replace those players with players from your bench.
If you have a rolling lockout or a first saturday game lockout for team selection, you will be able to update your team now and move in players from other matches who haven't played yet.
If you have a first game of round lockout you will not be able to move players. We recommend league managers from leagues with a first game of round lockout change their lockout rules for this weekend only. To do this, go to your league page. In the site navigation click "Settings" then Edit "Lineup & Transaction Rules" and change "Lineup Change Lockout" to "First Saturday Game of Week".
All Public leagues lock on the first saturday game of the round.
If a player from Geelong or Adelaide is in your selected team, they will be replaced by an emergency if one is available.
PLUS leagues have the option of using the "Edit Match Results" feature to implement a custom solution for this round's scores.

Get ready for donuts....

maybe VS to cancel this weeks games and award everyone 2 points in league games?
I doubt it mate. They unlikely to put that much thought into it. I think the only thing that would concern them most is what happens to people that already used trades on Geelong or Crows players. As far as league stuff or draft stuff I know from past they do not put the same level of thought into. I will be presently surprised if I am wrong and they just give us all two points each. When I once played their Big Bash game I found a game was washed out but it did start and they gave scores to those that played and for those that did not get a chance to bat or bowl they gave them zero as if they performed a full game on zero. I deleted my team that weekend so I am not optimistic of them doing the most sensible thing for this tragic life circumstance that lead to Geelong and Crows game needing to be called off.
The ideal thing is call the fantasy league games off for round and put it back a week.

Janksy or one of the virtual sports people will release something soon. No doubt his twitter feed will be getting questions

Pretty sure it will be 0s for all cats and crows players.

So guys a quick question, which 3 would you start out of Hamling, Boston, Steele, McLean?

NOTE: A decision is yet to be made on how the cancellation of Sunday’s #AFLCrowsCats will impact SuperCoach scores. #RIPPhilWalsh

tough one...

1 steel - he will need to score well to keep his spot
2. mclean - same reasons as steel but i think steel has great scoring potential.
3. hamling - his playing against carlton and i think he will score around 70

i can see boston scoring around 60 this week.

Wow! I wonder what implications that has on averages/prices next year. Also breakevens and price changes this year.
This is probably the thing that interests me the most out of it all.
