Simpson v Shaw ? (or Both?)
Specifically, Shaw has scored well in the past 2 games. Do we trust trust that he is going to continue to play a SC freindly role and output, or is it an illusion/trap?

I reckon both are Top 6 Defenders so can’t go wrong with either. Maybe Shaw for his cheaper price.

Anyone got a comparable player to C Curnow? Can be past or present.

Actually can't believe the massive love in for Bonner, but complete disregard for CEY. Only due to positions, presume everyone has loaded up with guns in the mids with Kelly and Holman and a rookie filled backline - hence the mass rush to bonner.

If you have Coniglio, Kelly, Holman as M6-8 then CEY isn't much use as you've noted.

I'm 2-0-5-donut down back, looping Murphy and Naughton. I've skipped Bonner for now and will hope one of those two can get to 70 to mitigate the points lost.

I think Bonner is a 75-80 player, especially with Pittard back soon.

Naughton to Shaw vs Sicily to any forward (thinking Hoff, Curnow, Taranto, Acres pr any top forward)

Getting Shaw moves Murray to the bench

Have 342k in bank, 4K short of getting simpson

Could also trade Sicily to any defender via Brander (bonner?), then next week I could trade Naughton to a firward

I think it's purely due to the 'trade-out' options available, and that a lot of people are wanting to offload Naughton, but there really aren't too many dodgy MID rookies to deal with.

I agree, he looks like a great option, but I can't justify trading out someone like Brayshaw to get him. Maybe if you had someone like Dow, or even Rayner (with a F/M link), you would consider it, but you've also got Christensen in the FWD line at the same price (another great option).

Thinking of swapping Neale for either Oliver or Danger. Is danger worth the extra $150k? Or should I maybe wait a week or two for danger to drop/to get a better indication of how Oliver will perform

What reason do you have to lose faith in Neale after two scores of 95+? Very sideways to Oliver and too soon for Danger imo.

As a Pies fan (and non-Shaw owner) I was annoyed on the weekend every time the commentators used the term 'lucky' to describe Shaw's actions. Heaps of kicks thrown onto the boot that miraculously landed in a teammate's lap... Not clever lucky, just sheer ass!
Not sure if it's sustainable, I feel he'll have some shockers.

Ellis-Yolmen 263k M v Taranto 365k M/F

Any thoughts here? Obv at the price Taranto would need to be a keeper at F6. CEY could be used as a stepping stone.

I know I it's hard to compare rookies... But L.MURPHY VS WATERMAN?
Who looks like keeping their spot more? I want to trade Langdon and want to know who you think I should go to.
