Decided not to bring in M Gawn and J Scrimshaw for B Grundy and X Duursma but would greatly appreciate any thoughts on which option you prefer for D7 and F7.
A. X Duursma (D7) and C Burgess (F7)
B. J Scrimshaw (D7) and L Schultz (F7)
is Schultz one of those SC unfriendly forward pocket types? if so then i'd stay way especially with Matera back from suspension next week.
Burgess should at least get a decent crack at it even if his scoring ability wont be much better.
Duursma and Scrimshaw is pretty much a wash. i dont think either have outstanding scoring potential or JS.

I had to look up Schultz, but it seems he was selected without playing JLT ... do you know much about him, or are you implementing the Lewis Taylor rule (picking any rookie playing their first game in round one)?
If you think Schultz is viable, or even appealing given this rule, I would definitely go with that option. The other two are okay if Schultz looks to have poor JS/scoring capacity, but I’m skipping both and am not devastated about that.

Prefer J Macrae and T Liberatore due to T Liberatore having the potential to generate more cash than B Crouch as well as J Macrae's ceiling and consistency in comparison to Coniglio.
2nd is very hard to separate but I'd narrowly have Option 1 out in front only because of the risk attached to the 2nd option.

Prefer S Collins over B Smith. Wouldn't be to worried about having the 3 Dogs as I assume Libba will only have a short stay (eg 5-10 rounds) but if you would like to alleviate that concern and have sufficient cash then R Gray/D Mundy could be an alternative to J Dunkley.

Scrimshaw and Burgess are pretty hard to split, Burgess has a pretty good run for A KPF the first 4 weeks and I actually don't think Gold Coast are anywhere near as bad as many are predicting. Outside of Scrimshaws first quarter the other week he's not done a great deal to inspire confidence for me.
Duursma is a tricky one, I currently have him pencilled in at M9 as I think he has a decent amount of potential to score well, though I agree with the general consensus that he's likely the first one out for the Port rookies. At this stage, with our relatively fit list I'm going to back him in with the mindset that it's his spot to lose.
I know almost nothing of Schultz, so it's very hard for me to make any sort comment on him.
Most people would probably say the Gawn option but I would go option one. If Preuss is only out briefly, the arguments against starting Gawn largely still stand in my view. I like and have the other three options. I do have Hoff who can swing forward though, so I can potentially get both Grundy and Gawn later on with relative ease.
