NEWS OUT OF MELBOURNE (PART TWO)
Speedster Jayden Hunt has signed on until the end of 2022.
“We are happy to have Jayden sign on for the next two seasons,” Demons football manager Josh Mahoney told the club website.
“Whilst only managing six games this season, we see Jayden having a big impact on our team in the future.
“He is a hard worker, who provides us with great flexibility in the team.
“He has played forward, back and wing at different stages for us and is continually developing his game.”

TRELOAR TREATMENT WORSENS
Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has reportedly told Adam Treloar senior players don’t want him at the club anymore, in what would be a staggering escalation of the Pies’ attempts to offload him.

Despite having a contract until the end of 2025, Collingwood have been trying to convince Treloar his future lies elsewhere.

SEN reporter Sam Edmund said that Buckley had taken matters into his own hands.

“What we can say as absolute fact is Nathan Buckley had a phone conversation with Adam Treloar last week where he told him that Collingwood’s more senior players didn’t want him around the club anymore,” Edmund said.

“We were wondering how Collingwood would seek to pour more pressure on forcing Adam Treloar out – now we have our answer.

“Now they’re telling him his teammates want him out, which I find staggering as he’s a very popular player at that football club.” https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/af...s/news-story/b24d14ac08afbe88d58580ee9a428afa

Whoever is going to end up with Treloar and Stephenson might not have to give up much to get them at this rate. Fire Sale!

If the above is correct, how do the Pies fans on here feel about the way this is playing out?

Personally I think it’s disgraceful.

I find it all quite surprising and confusing. The club is far from perfect, but in general a lot of what has been alleged seems out of character in my view. I suspect there is more to come out in time. Without knowing the detail I took it as a given that we would want Treloar at the club next year, as I did.

Wonder if the dogs should offer up pick 13 to the Hawks for McEvoy and later pick in return. Wonder if that would get the Hawks to consider it. He is 31 years old so you wouldn't think he would be apart of their next premiership or even finals side on what they produced this year.

Could add to the Bulldogs chances of a flag and disolve the pick in something they actually need over being consumed in a Ugle-Hagan bid.Would give Hawks more for the future.
