Haha I've quickly run the numbers and it looks like you're essentially trying to sell them to only @Jordan's Jets and myself at this stage as we are the only teams past Pick 64 with live selections I'm pretty sure based on a quick count of the remaining list spots for everyone.

Pick 64 is my last atm, but if I trade one pick for something next year then will use pick 74.

My 35 will be on the table too..

However, suspect there won't be much trading of next years picks!

Do we Skype for the draft?

My remaining draft picks after Pick 31 (48,54,58,68 and 78) are all available in exchange for 2022 draft picks, as I will only be making 3 selections tonight.

SALARY AND CONTRACT CAPS

The Dashboard and Individual Team Tabs will count the average salary for all players. This may put teams over the salary cap. However, if you are picking up a 2CP not signed by their team, they are able to be signed to a back end contract, and therefore the true nature of the remaining and/or end salary will not be truly indicated by these tools.

Great job with the draft last night everyone

Big thanks to @KLo30 and @Goodie's Guns for all the hard work in setting up the draft sheet it was A1.

In the end my trade yesterday did not really work out, but you get that. It was one pick of working, but was trumped at the previous pick .

Overall I got 3 of 6 that were on my list and another that I wasn't expecting to get, but got anyway so I guess not all was lost.

Looking forward to the season and hope Witts and McInerney can play 90% of games .

With the auction and draft now complete, if teams could create their team threads in the hub area that would be good. As I mentioned the other day, probably best to ensure you include your current team and draft selections held (2022 & 2023) within the first post.

Additionally, anyone want to do a season preview? Or Sliding Doors type writeup to kick us off into the new season?

Echo above sentiments, kudos to Klo for planning and preparing and also to everyone for making themselves available at the scheduled time!

I was pretty happy with my second and third picks, funnily enough was between both at my second and to my delight Downie slipped to my third! Also massive relief to have navigated to under the salary cap. Contract structuring really adds a whole new layer to discussions

* Team submission sheet has been sent out.

2021 TEAM SUBMISSIONS

With AFL team announcements to continue to be released only 24hrs prior to each game, SCSUL team submissions will adopt similar protocols to those afforded in season 2020.

Prior to the first game of each round, SCSUL teams are expected to enter their ‘expected’ starting 22, and ‘expected’ 4 emergencies. Including a Captain and Vice Captain.

Should a SCSUL team have a player within their starting 22 or 4 emergencies who is in doubt (e.g. Injury or Omitted), and they are not then named to play for their AFL side, the SCSUL side will be able to replace the player.

That is, an emergency can be moved straight on field in place of the player who is not named for their AFL team, for teams named after the start of the first game of the round.

Where an emergency is not named for their AFL team, for teams named after the start of the first game of the round, a new emergency player is able to be selected.

Specific DPP movements to replace a player selected on field by an SCSUL team who was not named for their AFL side, for teams named after the start of the first game of the round, are allowed.

IT IS EXPECTED THAT TEAMS WHO SUSPECT THEY HAVE A PLAYER WHO MAY BE IN DOUBT MAKE NOTES OF THE SPECIFIC EMERGENCY AND/OR DPP MOVEMENTS. THIS CAN BE DONE BY EITHER WRITING IN THE NOTES SECTION OF THE TEAM SHEETS, POST IN THE SCSUL THREAD OR BY PRIVATE MESSAGING THE LEAGUE COMMISSIONER.

Good luck for the coming season!
