SUNS defender
Jack Bowes is expected to be sidelined for the next three weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury in the loss to Brisbane on the weekend.
Bowes was subbed out of the match in the final quarter and SUNS Head Physiotherapist
Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update Bowes would be unavailable until after the bye in Round 12.
“Jack had a little bit of hamstring pain in that final quarter so we elected to be pretty cautious with Jack and take him off at the time,” Bull said.
“He’s got a low-grade hamstring injury so will likely miss about three weeks.”
At least it does sound minor "he just felt some pain in his hamstring" so that's a positive, 3 weeks sounds about right.
What does worry me is that he didn't get subbed out till the last quarter & had 0 kick ins for the game, it looks like Powell has taken over that role from him now
