Rubbish. Truth is revealed after the game.

What protection is given to the individuals "I played therefore I was fit to play. No excuses."
Okay I guess we will agree to disagree.

I believe the clubs have a right to protect their players by holding back injuries information when playing.
You believe in full disclosure to the public. Fair enough.

Not really, was always missing round 12 so it's effectively 2 weeks regardless.
I'll swallow this bitter pill I think
With Bolton out for me, I'm leaning to trade Bowes out, especially after I read that he's taking less kick-ins, hmmm.
Do you think he will still be a 90+ Defender from here?

So reading on the suns website about Bowes :-

https://www.goldcoastfc.com.au/news/939324/qscan-injury-update-round-10

SUNS defender Jack Bowes is expected to be sidelined for the next three weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury in the loss to Brisbane on the weekend.

Bowes was subbed out of the match in the final quarter and SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update Bowes would be unavailable until after the bye in Round 12.

“Jack had a little bit of hamstring pain in that final quarter so we elected to be pretty cautious with Jack and take him off at the time,” Bull said.

“He’s got a low-grade hamstring injury so will likely miss about three weeks.”

At least it does sound minor "he just felt some pain in his hamstring" so that's a positive, 3 weeks sounds about right.

What does worry me is that he didn't get subbed out till the last quarter & had 0 kick ins for the game, it looks like Powell has taken over that role from him now :(

NORTH Melbourne has successfully challenged Tarryn Thomas' one-game suspension at the AFL Tribunal.

The 21-year-old was slapped with a ban by the Match Review Officer for a rough conduct charge during the Kangaroos' drought-breaking win against Hawthorn on Saturday.

BRISBANE has been dealt a savage blow with defender Darcy Gardiner to undergo shoulder surgery on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old will be hopeful of returning by the end of the season or possibly finals with the club setting a timeframe of 12-14 weeks.
