    Strategy Round 9: Trades

Good question re MDB, Greenwood or Miller are the 2 guys getting their hands on the pill frequently, but for mine Miller uses it better so maybe him? Swallow and Weller also candidates for a shut down player.

I watched him all game, he moved fine and was around the ball alot, but it just never made into his hands. Even worse it got to him after a free kick was paid, negating the possession. He's driving me mad, but I am going to hold and keeping moving on rookies, until he's dropped.

    Strategy Round 9: Trades

The hard part with this round is how to plan for trades, given teams arent announced until the night before. Downgrading to rookies playing sat or sun, is going to be quite awkward.

    Opinion Round 8: VC/C Selections

So, it’s raining in Brisbane should I take the C off Gawn and put it on Neale?

    Strategy Round 8: Trades

I'm debating Mcinerny to either Simpson or Georgiades (via m/f swing). Given extra intial cash gen from George which will be handy next week with 3 trades, i'm keen on going him over Simpson, but his job security is the turn off.

    Strategy Round 8: Trades

See my comments in Rookies thread. How he got 86 off his stats bewilders me, it looked more like a 36 not an 86. Would be surprised if he isn't dropped this week.

    Strategy Round 8: Trades

Devon is killing himself with clangers and frees against, last week was -20, the previous week was -36. If he can clear that up he is good for 90+ from here which is fine for an F6, that said he is one tweek away from another soft tissue injury in a compressed fixture so I wouldn't be too...

Depends on how you look at it. The 86 came off 4 kicks & a handpass, 1 mark and 3 tackles, 100% gametime and 60% efficiency. One could well ask how the hell that made an 86!! On the other hand if he can do that off stuff all possessions imagine how he goes off a 15+ game!

The SuperCoach trade limit of 30 will be increased to 34, with an extra trade (three per round) available for coaches to use from rounds 9-12. Best 18 scoring for any round less than 9 games, currently rounds 10 & 11

Given the bye, there will need to be a round 18 wont there? Keep it simple and run 3 trades per round coming home or have 2 wild cards you can play at any time giving you 4-6 trades for that week.

    Strategy Round 7: Trades

I went with the logic of of removing injured players and players who arent getting a gig. Right now, anyone actually getting named, no matter how terrible, is staying in.

    Strategy Round 7: Trades

I've been very keen on Yeo, but this week i'm even keener on BSmith (much more consistent) so it will be another week before I go get him.

    Strategy Round 7: Trades

I think his JS is probably pretty good, which would make him 3rd for me behind Rankine & McPherson. Simpson & Day both look good but their JS is terrible. This week with all the uncertainty around fixtures and format, now requires an ultra conservative mindset IMO, 1up 1 down and only get Rankine.

    Strategy Round 7: Trades

My thoughts are that Simpson will play another 2 games max, earn you about $100k and then be another rookie stranded on around $230k. So I would go Pitt>Gawn. Plus there looks to be quite a few rookies debuting this week, and if Gould or WCE BJ Williams are named, I will be very keen on picking...

Discussion Round 7: Teams & In Game Discussion

This is a great point AA, although who's to say with a compressed schedule and possibly extended benches, that these two actually DO get some game time. Certainly having as many warm bodies as possible is going to be vital going forward as it seems there will be byes all the way to seasons end.
