I’m totally fine with Tracey playing. Making money from R3 will be refreshing. I have a feeling we’re going to be rookie poor this year so there will be other donuts.

Also, can picture Tracey giving a big FU to SCers everywhere

Any news on how Bailey Williams from WC is travelling? Now with the longer quarters, surely Nic Nat gets more spells. Do WC cover him with Oscar Allen in the ruck? Vardy is injury prone. I've brought him into my forward line structure as an alternative to some of the injury prones. Would value an opinion from any Coasters re Bailey's role in their 22.

Training well, I would have him as our 2nd ruck - he can play key fwd also.
Rate him, thought he should of played more games last year. Simmo has alluded to the longer quarters this year will need adjustments, playing a real 2nd ruck looks likely as NN is a power athlete/ not endurance.

Allen has been training mainly with the fwds but also in the backs so can play either end. Personally I would much prefer Allen playing as a fwd, Williams in as the 2nd ruck but it does make our team very tall.

Thanks for that, gives me confidence he'll get a game and have some sort of impact on the game too.

So i have been thinking going Gawndy but recently I've been thinking about how grundy played last year and whether that'll be worse this year due to the club's problems going on,

What everyone's thoughts on Gawn/ROB instead of Gawndy?

I expect Grundy to bounce back to his best with the longer quarters. Grundy struggled in the bubble and had a knee injury.

I don't think Collingwood's problems are on going. With the new administration, I'm hoping this new start will be positive for the club.

Grundy Average “120” in 2020, not such a bad year.?

Struggled with injury, and from reports struggle with hub life and final year examinations.

Great VC/C option.

ROB is also a great choice but i am betting Grundy maintains the 120average and scores more points than ROB.

Good Luck.

I'm looking at starting with the Grundy/ROB combo.
I expect Grundy to get back to 2019 level scoring, assuming it's a 'normal' season.
ROB should hold value, maybe even improve.

Gawn I expect to fall in back to 2019 price and output, so a possible swap with ROB down the track
In the last few years he has peaked in price around Rd8-10, then dipped to his low point around Rd13-15 before climbing again. Scrap that, looked at the wrong data.

Time to play around with some Gawn & Grundy combinations
Any thoughts on Draper ?

Or this crazy one

Gawn , Flynn , Treacy *

with Marshall , Amartey (?) & Williams as Forwards

Haven't checked the fixture for 6 rounds to see if Flynn loops with the other 4.

Leon Cameron on Sen1116 stated that Preuss hurt his shoulder at training, waiting to be assessed. Watch this space.
I can imagine the 29-odd percent of SC coaches who have him right now would probably be swearing profusely and throwing their hands up in the air at that news.
Consider. It. Done. He was my first picked. I'll wait for confirmation, but I'm swearing. Can't believe was still in <30% teams.

Flynn could be very handy, surely they arent going back to Mumford
Why wouldn’t they be going back to Mummy if Preuss misses?

Don’t really see the point of retaining him if he doesn’t provide cover for Preuss when he’s injured or due for a rest.

When Jacobs missed last season, it was Mumford who replaced him.

If the injury keeps Preuss out for four rounds of the season or more then I strongly doubt they will pick Flynn to ruck against Gawn and Grundy during round 3 and 4.
