Yep - I don't think we will be able to keep this one under wraps. I expect he will be one of the buzz mid pricers of 2021.

I watched his game last week ( i think last week) and he just looks ready to explode. That an opportunity in the north mids and the stars are aligning.
And here I am hoping that he goes bang from now to the end of the season at F6....oh dear...

Sidebottom and Zorko both got F status added in AFL Fantasy , I wonder if they could be F/M in SC next season.

Sidebottom could be close to $ 600k though.

Rowan Marshall possibly F/R
Sidebottom and Zorko have had the MID/FWD in the AFL Player Ratings summaries for a while now.
So I suspect if Sidebottom doesn't play any more footy this year, or little footy, that he and Zorks (should he keep his percentage up enough) should both be MID/FWDs.

Believe both Marshall and Ryder and pure RUC at the moment in the AFL Player Ratings Summaries.

Cheers for that , sounds like we won't be seeing Sidey back , would need to be on the September 1 flight to be able to play Round 18.

Thought I read the due date for baby is the 12th September.

They both just could make starting sides a lot harder to balance out.

Lloyd , Whitfield (?)
3 + Cripps
Gawn , Grundy
Sidebottom , Zorko

is probably close to $ 6.5 million alone.

Zorko at the moment will be about $ 530 k

I think you said previously the AFL Player ratings you use are only available on Twitter.

Work in progress

Lloyd $ 655,944.00
Bowes $ 485,985.00
Lukosius $ 482,184.00

Macrae $ 692,325.00
Oliver $ 688,524.00
Mitchell $ 630,433.00
Cripps $ 565,263.00

Gawn $ 766,173.00
Grundy $ 665,175.00

F1 $ 550,000.00
F2 $ 550,000.00
Heeney $ 510,420.00 (less discount)

= $ 7,242,426.00

Budget will be $ 7 million for these 12 players

10 onfield rookies = $ 2 million

Bench = $ 1,000,000.00
Probably need to factor in :-

D2 Whitfield

F1 Sidebottom
F2 Zorko

probably need to cull one of Macrae/Oliver

Rucks don't get classified as RUC-FWD in the player ratings, just as ruck, so you won't know if they're spending over 35% of time forward, but my guess is both are.

Laird might end up as the best premium DEF-MID we have had in many years if he keeps his role over the last 4 weeks. There's too few of these players for CD to rank them, just like there's too few RUC-FWD's, so you can't find any on the player ratings page. I think he becomes a genuinely good starting option if he is gonna play midfield again next year.

Next year's going to be a good one I reckon. Gonna have to be creative to make $$$ and work out who will benefit or suffer with the return to normal length and fixturing (hopefully)

At moment for me

Obvious definites: Grundy, Heeney
Of significant interest: Lukosius, Bailey Williams (WBD), T Mitchell, Cripps, Marshall (if r/f), Charlie Curnow, Rozee, Ziebell
Not for me: Gawn, Neale, Dangerfield

EDIT: Walsh of some interest to me too, although those picks don't have a lot of upside.

I haven't paid attention to Heeney since round1, did he show lots of potential and get injured or something?

Nothing particularly special about what he did this season, but he's a gun who I would be targeting to get in at some point anyway and will start with a slight discount.

Once he moves properly into the mids he has all the tools for a Petracca-esque breakout and if Franklin gets himself right and/or they get Daniher it will free Heeney up for his Supercoach Destiny.

If he stays with similar mid/fwd rotations then he is still a genuine premo so there's little downside other than injury risk.

Heppell could be worth some thought. Not THAT old yet and could be some value with a good preseason if he gets the full 30% discount and they use 89 rather than 94 (2019 avg) for calculating his price. I doubt he's back this season to mess up the averages but even if he is, probably could just make his price cheaper with scores under 90.

I have a potential starting price of around 340k (5450 x 89 x 0.7). With Heppell as my DP I may just need to start him at that price :p
Haha after writing him off, he’s apparently a chance for this round.

Will be interesting to see if we play him def or fwd rather than midfield to ease him back.

so if Ugle-Hagan is around $ 207,300.00

Ben Brown approx $ 263 k
Patton approx $ 192 k and could/should get a discount

not sure if C Curnow ( $372k) & Franklin ($394k) will get a further discount or be priced under the Nasimith rule.

Hately might be interesting if he does return home

$ 356k with possibly a discount puts him in that price range that the majority tend to say stay clear of though.

Was going to start him as my first ever real POD and MID midpricer this year, if it wasn't for him not even making the Giants Round 1 side...

Also reminder to self come next March, have a seriously good hard look at Sam Walsh.

Media have them chasing Jack Graham as well , not sure about Luke Dunstan so be interesting how their mids look.

Suspect at least one Crouch goes , might need to move Sloane to W/HF , do they keep Laird in their , Keays will play run with.

Was watching Walsh closely tonight , was actually thinking I would prefer to start him over Cripps.

Can't see how you can balance out all 4 of Macrae , Mitchell , Neale & Oliver , something will need to give especially with Lloyd and a set n forget Ruck.

Treloar , Walsh/Cripps , if Rowell is 100% and discounted , Cunnington if fit and discounted......

Hately

Quick read of that Top 25 Draft article seemed to be less midfielders available than normal so be interesting to see where the rookies fall.
