Couple of questions on the Eagles if you can answer it would be appreciated.

Who has the early running at Hurn role during preseason.

Hewett training with the Midfield Group.
Flynn settled well, main ruck. Williams seen more as a relief ruck/ key fwd

Witherden has the Hurn role - doing kick ins.

Hewett midfield group, had a foot issue that they are managing.

Thanks for the Info.

Flynn as R1 is firming. (Just dont like the Bye for Melbourne) Decision between Gawn or Pretracca to start. Oliver just to risky.

Hewett i am keen on in the FWD Line, but foot issues are never a good thing.

Thoughts on Will Brodie at $318,300. Only played 5 games last year, averaged 101 year before

Thank you. Will keep an eye on it and play around with G Hewett and M Crouch as well around that price range in the midfield.
Feels like after having Callaghan, Bruhn, Fyfe, Flanders, Setterfield at start of last year, I will be going again for some value.

Do you have the MCrouch, Adams, G Hewetts, Keidans of this world or go deeper value for Jordan, Billings, Georgiades, Lynch, Hermes.

I like it, with the byes and how they work, this gives you lots of choices for Midfield.

Strong down back for points to cover the light Midfield.

I assume Walsh and Tracca early trade priorities.?
I’m finding it hard to figure out the order of the top MIDs so only have 3.

Looking at potentially trading out an underperforming premo to Walsh before his price rise in round 3 as his bye is in round 2. I’m sure like many others I’ll be hoping Trac can get FWD status by round 6.

Is there a website that shows a consolidation/summary of players who are in a contract year?

Footywire is the only place I'm aware to find the info but requires to click on players profiles individually. All good if this is a manual clicking exercise.

  • Draftee Tew Jiath is already one of the best runners at Collingwood, while Harry DeMattia has also looked good.
  • The Pies haven’t decided on a summer signing despite six players training with the club, including former Saint Jack Bytel.
  • Ash Johnson and Reef McInnes have often played deep as forwards and could be potential replacements for McStay.

  • A bunch of Bombers have been on light duties, including Jake Stringer (foot), Peter Wright (foot), Sam Weideman (achilles) and recruits Ben McKay (knee) and Xavier Duursma (hip). All five are expected to be in full training in January. Dylan Shiel (knee/foot) is due back into full training in February.
  • Nik Cox looks likely to play off halfback as he shrugs off a couple of years hit by injury.
  • Draftee Nate Caddy has shown no interest in taking it easy, crashing into bodies at training and putting defenders under the pump as he wants to play in round 1.
  • A knee injury hit Elijah Tsatas last pre-season but he was labelled as one to watch over this pre-season by Zach Merrett.

FREMANTLE
