The thing to note from the table is that every team is on a single in Rd 6 and 7, so reshuffling to the Wade & Inglis combo for the dream run home looks the best way to finish. If the combo looks to be decent enough. 2 game break for Wade & Inglis on all bar 3 combos.

I really struggle to see upside with Gilkes, isn't going to bat above 4 with Sangha,Hales and Roussow there and hes probably sliding behind Sams,Cutting and Willey in majority of situations, falls into the cheap for a reason category a bit for mine.

If you don't like Gilkes (which I don't particularly), and you cut out every Sydney Thunder combo, then I believe you start with one of these
and switch to finish with one of these...

19/24 matches he has batted 4 or better. Seems to score better and have a better strike rate opening or first drop. I feel they give him first go to cement a position there, otherwise they play the specialist keeper in Holt.
Just think Sangha,Hales and Roussow are miles better bats than Gilkes and are all nailed on top order players, doesn't make a great deal of sense to move one of them to 4 to accommodate a guy that really wasnt that good at the role last year.

They are playing to win matches at the end of the day, I could be wrong I just think they'll favour the better strikers of the ball, feel he only opened last year because they had nobody else as much as anything.
Opened the other day for SA in one of their warm up games and dominated, expect theyll go him with Hales to keep the left hand/right hand combo and keep Sangha at 3 where he dominated last year.

I guess they have to look at team balance. Will they be stronger with him at the top of the order and the better or more experienced strikers closing the innings, or the other way around?

Has alot of parallels to Joe Clarke for mine, priced based on one rubbish season but is a far better player than that, if he brings anything like his Vitality Blast form hes going to be one of the bargains of the season.
I think Wade could be best value for money in the keepers but only if he opens the batting? Talk is he may be used as a finisher with David and they'll open with Short/McDermott combination. If they do this I'll pass on Wade and look at a set and forget keeper with Philippe. Good luck👍
